I have always dreamed of getting married at my parent’s house which is set on a quiet lake in Augusta MI, so that is exactly what my now husband and I did.  We got married on a beautiful fall day in late October with the sun shining and the trees just starting to change colors. 

Our whole wedding was based around the gorgeous fall colors of the trees; deep reds, shades of oranges, and a mix of yellows. We used mainly dahlias and orchids, with roses, stock, snapdragons, and lisianthus mixed in.  Stephanie with Raw + Real Photography was there to capture the love and celebration of the day. 

Pulling off a backyard wedding would not have been possible without the very organized and talented coordinator, Hannah from Third Coast Blonde Events. She helped keep all our rentals organized, keep up on a tight schedule, and made sure eThird Coast Blonde Eventsverything went smoothly so my husband, me, and our families could be present and enjoy the day. 

Sarah, Wild Bees Beauty, made sure that I looked natural and the most beautiful I have ever felt with my makeup and hair.
